My mom had come across this old autograph book I had from 2nd grade and I found this cool little note on one of the pages. It was written by my Grandma Kalma who passed away in 2004, so it is a very special find!
The note says "We think you are a wonderful little girl. The world can't hold all the love we have for you. Stay sweet as you are." Love, Grandma & Grandpa
And this is why I am a pack rat!!!!

I love the picture below. Not only does Grandma look really happy, but she used to always ask me if I wanted an all-day sucker!

so sweet! My mom passed away this year and I have treasured every little note I have found from her in my belongings. It makes me want to be the kind of person that leaves a lot more notes for the ones I love.

What a sweet post! When I was a kid I remember having *everything* autographed. Yearbooks, T-shirts, casts... I even remember having everyone sign a stuffed animal when I "graduated" the 5th grade. Going back and looking through them, I am sure there are a lot of people that I no longer stay in touch with, but they are certainly precious memories :)
