Tonight we were on a walk and this really big, scary dog came out after us. I thought we would be OK since the owner somewhat had a hold of the dog, then I thought the dog was really wanting to just sniff Stella and he took a bite at her. She completely freaked out and I was a little scared too! Thank goodness the lady was there and that the dog didn't go after one of the boys.
When we got home I saw she did have a bit of blood on her leg, luckily the vet in town does energy calls. So he checked her out- $75 later- she has a deeper scratch and is a bit on the freaked out side. He wasn't too concerned and she seemed to pep up a bit after the appointment. I was just happy I didn't have to take her to Des Moines.
She was pretty sad all night and hardly left the couch. Carter thought a bit of ice might make her feel better!
