If you haven't bought one yet, go get your elf on the shelf! Wally made a safe return last week! The boys are totally digging him. Sometimes I catch them making funny faces at him or doing double takes. They are totally buying into it and we are going with it. I think the daycare teachers are to as we have received 3 notes now for Wally to take to Santa that Carter and Dylan had good days at school. I bet they are bugging their teachers ALL DAY about it.
They thought this was pretty funny, these are their favorite waffles right now. Pumpkin Spice, they are seasonal and if you haven't bought them and you are in the Ankeny area, you probably won't because I have been buying out the stores. The boys are going to be broken hearted when they are gone.
One morning the boys pointed out to me that Wally was in the same place. Luckily I was able to recover pretty quick with….you know what happened? We did not go to bed early enough last night and he didn't have time to go back to the North Pole so he had to stay. I guess this one can go into my tales of a mean mommy!

That is a great excuse. Fred stayed in the same spot a few nights ago, Ian said that he probably didn't know all the spots to hide in our new house yet. I like yours better.
