Our first day in toddlers went well...

The first day went really well! I do wish I could have been there to watch them act like big boys! I guess they did well at lunch and took a 2 hour nap on the cots. The teacher told Keith that Dylan had rolled off at one point, but got up and went back to sleep.

On the down side, biting must have been the theme of the day! Carter got bit on the arm and I guess both attempted to bite other kids. Then tonight Carter gave me a big hug and then I thought I was going to get a kiss and he bit me! With that big open mouth, you just never know if you should welcome it thinking you are getting a kiss or jump in fear! It certainly is a gamble.

Both were pretty wiped out tonight and pretty good most of the evening.

Here is what the boys will be up to...

The drop off went pretty well this morning! In the toddlers we drop them off in the muscle room, which is basically like an indoor recess. A really large room with lots of toys and tons of kids running around. They were pretty shy for the first 10 minutes and stuck close to me and Keith. Then they found some friends from their old room and got busy really quick! I hop they do well today.

Here is their toddler schedule, so it looks like they have a busy day!

Last day in the Infant room. Toddlers, here we come!

Tomorrow, the boys will have their first day in the toddler room! They sure are growing up fast! Every day last week they spent a little bit of time in the toddler room to get adjusted.
I wish I could be there to watch them sit in their little chairs and eat lunch at a table with the other kids and to take naps on cots! Oh, and they drink out of regular cups too! We only do that in the bathtub at home, so that should be interesting. They get to have pillows on their cots too, so we bought them their first pillows this weekend.
I hope their first day goes well, I'm sure they will really like playing with all the bigger kids!

I was so excited to pack our LAST breakfast/lunch/snack!!!!
