Men at work...

I'm liking the looks of this! They have more openings if you are looking for a sitter.

Have a safe trip dad....

Keith had to make a last minute trip to Florida to visit a supplier, so he is leaving at 4 tomorrow morning and will return Tuesday afternoon. So it will be just me and the boys tomorrow. At least the trip is to Florida where he can get a direct flight most times of the day! Going to New York he lost about a two days just traveling.
I'm sure the boys will miss their daddy, but we'll do great!

Friday night the boys were pretty tired. Dylan snuggled up to Keith and then Carter thought that looked like a pretty good idea as well. These two sure keep us busy, but are a lot of fun!

AHHHHHHH......

The boys were both so good tonight and kept busy playing with their toys all night. Tonight was Hollywood week for American Idol, I think Skibowski was Carter's favorite. When he came out he stopped playing and stared at the TV, then when Ellen started giving him negative feedback he throw his toy towards the TV. I guess we have a couple young fans!
Here is a funny video of Dylan and Keith.

Time to play in the snow!

Keith has been dying to take the boys outside to play in the snow, but it has been frigid cold outside since Christmas time. It finally warmed up to the 30's this week and surprisingly it felt like a heat wave.

Saturday afternoon Keith cleared some snow in the back yard to make a play area for the boys. They were so funny walking around with all their snow gear on. Whenever they would fall down, they would get stuck and couldn't get themselves back up. I think they thought it was somewhat fun, but seemed to be confused as to why they were out in the snow and weren't really sure what to do.

Keith is looking forward to building lots of snowmen and forts with them as they get older.

What would "10 year old" Keith be saying right now?

I think he would be shaking his head and wondering how things got to THIS!
Any of you that know my husband, know that he is an electronic / gadget junky to say the least. So naturally, every Christmas there is usually some super cool gadget on his list. Yep, this year the big electronic that topped his list was a vacuum. All week preceding Christmas, all he would talk about is this vacuum he hoped to get. And lucky for him Santa delivered!
Haven't used it yet, but I must say it looks like a pretty cool little vacuum. And hopefully it will help us keep up with the amount of dust and dirt that ends up on our hardwood floors.

Don't Believe Him

Dear Friends and Family,

This year when Keith tells all of you he needs some new socks for Christmas this year, DON'T believe him!!! We used to share this sock drawer and about a year ago I packed my socks up and moved them into a basket in the closet and even with the extra room the drawer continued to get harder and harder to close!

Carter couldn't go to daycare on Friday due to another case of pink eye, so he helped me clean dad's sock drawer! I think I managed to find about five pairs of my socks!

A RARE MOMENT!

Many of you may think "sleeping babies... not so rare"! We can rarely get the boys to sleep anymore by holding them or rocking them, it's not too often anymore I get to sit with a sleeping baby. I love that we can lay them in their cribs and they go to sleep on their own, but I sure miss holding a warm sleeping baby snuggled up in my arms! It is amazing just how quickly they grow out of those special phases.

Tonight the boys woke up from their nap and Keith brought them into the living room to play while I finished up some ironing in our bedroom. When I was finished I went to go find everyone and with the silence I thought they had gone outside to play and was pleasantly surprised to see all three of my boys snoozing in the chair. I quickly grabbed my camera to get a couple shots since I probably won't see this scenario for a long time.
