It was an OLIVER weekend!

Last weekend we went to Norwalk to celebrate Oliver's 1st BIRTHDAY!!!!  I can't believe he is already one.  It was a busy party with lots of little boys running around, I think next year will be really wild.  He did a pretty good job with his cake and had lots of fun opening presents.  He was really digging the musical instruments and was a one-man-band at times. 

Sunday was his baptism, but I guess I didn't get any pictures.  Sarah posted a bunch on the Bormann Family blog on the side bar.

We had some visitors from Iowa!

Sarah and Adam thought it was time for Oliver's first trip to Minneapolis!  They came up Friday night to our house without power.  Overall, it was a pretty lazy weekend.  Saturday we took the all three boys to the pool and went to dinner at Axels.  I was hoping for a Saturday night fire, but it ended up raining all night.  Oliver is such a good baby, he barely made a peep the entire time he was here. 
The boys were pretty good with him, of course Sarah had to be on guard for flying toys.  They did take some interest in him, probably more than I have ever seen with any baby around.

This is when they first arrived, they were very curious about the baby daddy was holding.  I'm thinking a new baby wouldn't go over too well!

Of course by the end of the weekend, Carter did his famous, find the guest's lap to hang out on all day. A few more months and Oliver will be able to chase Carter and Dylan around.

We got out some of the boys' old toys and sent Oliver home with this walker.  The boys loved these.

Carter decided he would lay on his blanket next to Oliver and check him out. I can't even remember what it was like when the boys were that small.

OK, I guess that was fun for a minute, too much to do to lay around. Both boys took off at the same time!

We finally got to meet Oliver!

Adam and Sarah had Oliver Richard on January 6. We have been trying to go to Iowa to meet him for the past few weekends but haven't been able to make it between the boys being sick and the weekly blizzards/ice storms Iowa has been getting. We had great weather finally and made it back to Iowa for the weekend.

Keith and I left the boys with my mom and went to visit Oliver on Saturday. Adam, Sarah and Oliver are doing great. They are even starting to get some longer stretches of sleep.

He looks little now, but it won't be long before he is running around and getting into everything with Dylan and Carter.

Uh Oh, looks like I lost my touch!

It was fun holding a little baby again, but talking to Adam and Sarah about those first weeks brought back lots of buried memories and confirmed that we are not ready to have another one for a long time!
