We finally got to have our date day today!!!! We attempted one a few months back and the boys got sick.
We planned on eating breakfast at this really good pancake house, but they had a long wait at 8:30 on a Thursday??? So we went to Panera instead since they have pretty tasty breakfast sandwiches. Then we got a couples massage. Keith wasn't as jazzed about this as I was. He had only had a massage one other time and this one was with a guy named Vince! Overall, he did enjoy it.
We wanted to do something that we can't typically do with the boys, so we decided to go swimming. Whenever we take them to the pool, it is anything but relaxing, so we wanted to find a fun pool with a lazy river. We spent a couple hours at the Apple Valley pool with a bunch of junior high kids. We quickly realized we were pretty much the oldest people there without kids so we felt a little out of place, of course it didn't hold us back from going down the water slides.
We picked the boys up early from daycare and went to Keith's company outing. The boys had a lot of fun running, running some more and running even more. It was at the Eagan Community Center so they ran many laps around the gym and played in their kids zone slides/tubes area as well.
