Autumn had a work conference in Minneapolis this week and being the good salesman she is, she was able to convince Mark to drive up from KC with her and bring Kinley as well! We were quite excited for them to visit and meet Kinley, she is almost 4 months old. So we had a lot of fun hanging out, but get-togethers are sure different when you add three kids to the mix.
Saturday night all of us went out to dinner and had our first bonfire of the season. Sunday, we took the kids to Lake Harriet so Autumn could do a run around the lake and Mark, Keith and I took the kids for a walk. It was BEAUTIFUL out! Later, our friends Julie and Anne came over for a BBQ and to meet Kinley. We also watched our video from when we went to Punta Cana about 3 years ago for the first time. I sure wish we all lived closer so we could hang out more often. We also tried to narrow down some options for our trip to Hawaii, but didn't really get to far. If any of you have any Hawaii resort or location recommendations, please share!!!
The boys did pretty well with Kinley. They think it is fun to look at the baby and sometimes they REALLY want to touch her. Tonight Carter brought her her blanket, so that was nice. She was napping in her carrier and we set it in Carter's crib and when she woke up I went to get her and I was quickly spotted by two very concerned boys! I don't think they mind her around as long as she doesn't take their crib!
