Our weekend wasn't too eventful, but sometimes I like that! Friday night we went to the mall for an hour so I could return a couple of things and then we played at home. We had lots of laundry to catch up on after being gone last weekend and the boys were busy with that.
To celebrate my birthday and Valentine's Day, Keith had lined up one of the girls at daycare to watch the boys. This would have been our first sitter at the house, but she got strep throat and couldn't make it. So we will try to have a date night next weekend.
Saturday we had swimming lessons again. Carter had a lot more fun this time and of course Dylan was all smiles! The swimming lessons definitely took it out of them and they both napped around 3 hours. I'm pretty sure that is the longest duration they have ever taken naps. Saturday night we went to dinner and then just watched the Olympics that evening and played with the boys.
Sunday we did lots of playing and bought groceries for the week. We took the boys to Ikea, which ended up being not such a great idea. Apparently it was wonder aimlessly day and stand in the aisle and talk day. By the time we got to the section we went there for both boys were trying to get out of the carts and things were getting ugly, so we got out of there as fast as we could. I did get a bowl of Birthday Cake Remix at Coldstone on the way home, so that was nice!
Otherwise we have been unpacking, doing lots of cleaning and Keith has been prepping for his trip.
