Until recently, it was very difficult to give the boys medicine. It was about impossible to get into their mouths, so we would make "medicine" bottles, which would consist of about an ounce of formula with the medicine added. Once that was finished we would give them their normal bottles. So that would mean we would be doing double bottle washing duty. Which was no fun with the Dr. Brown bottles and the 5 parts that make up each bottle.
Now, when they see me coming with a dropper, I get a big grin, both come after me and their pacifiers drop right out of their mouths. MUCH easier. We'll see how long this lasts, hopefully they will stay healthy and they won't need any medicine!!
Carter....he is such a smiler!
Dylan still LOVES the pacifiers. I have a feeling it may be a challenge to break him. At their 9 month appt. the doctor said we should probably try to avoid having them use them during the day because they are close to the age where they start to get attached. I feel like since we learned that, they have had them about twice as much (oops). We'll break them when time is right, we survived the breaking of the swaddles. Sometimes I think they are for the parents just as much as they are for the babies.
