Had to post this one too, I think it might be one of the best pictures we've ever taken of Stella.  She must have just been happy to be i the picture.  Plus Olivia is cracking me up.

I love all these pictures of the three of them in their costumes.

 

 

Does that pumpkin look familiar?  Yep, same thing Carter was last year.  He just insisted on being a pumpkin again.  He seems excited about it, so I guess we will go with it. I've asked him a dozen times if he wanted to be a Ninja Turtle and he would say no thank you mom.

These pictures are from the fall festival uptown, this was our third year going.  

 

 

 

FIVE!!!

My boys are officially five and we did our first "kid" party!  I thought I would make it easy and go with just boys and kept it to two hours.  We also has a soccer game in the mix, so we went with Saturday morning.


We did a space theme this year and I didn't go too Pinterest crazy.  Space is such an easy theme for fun things, but I just didn't have any great decorating ideas with it this year.  We still did a few fun things.  

 

 

 

The first thing on the agenda….SILLY STRING!  I think all the boys had fun with this one.

 

 

 

 

Next was a trip to the moon.  I didn't get any good pics, but we had some black paper and made the storage room into the "moon".  We had a bunch of moon rocks (rocks with silver spray paint), and I covered the floor with bubble wrap, so lots of popping when all the boys were in the room.

Then they played like crazy in the basement!  Overall, I would say things went pretty well!

We had a blast picking out pumpkins this year. There is this field of pumpkins on the West end of Ankeny where you can pick out your own pumpkins and it's only $3 a pumpkin.  So much fun and a great deal for a big pumpkin.
